It Just Fitz builds fast, findable websites for local businesses -- and helps you pick the tools that turn visitors into booked jobs. No tech team required.
A site that shows up in local search, the tools that turn visitors into booked jobs, and someone watching it all after launch.
A fast, secure site that shows up in local search and turns visitors into booked jobs. Google Business Profile, click-to-call, and quote forms wired in from day one. Your domain, registered in your name, always.
The tools that turn a website into booked work: missed-call text-back, Google Business Profile optimization, automated review requests, online booking. I set up software you already own or should -- I don't build you something new to maintain.
Hosting, backups, uptime monitoring, and a person who answers when something breaks. Plus a yearly call to look at what's working and what's leaking leads.
Billed annually. Optional, and never a condition of the build.
A selection of tools I've designed and shipped -- the kind of build quality and problem-solving I bring to client work.
20 minutes. You describe the problem eating your time, and I tell you whether AI is the right fix and what it would look like, with no pitch deck and no pressure.
Deliverables, timeline, and price all in plain English, delivered within a few days, with no scope creep or surprise invoices after you sign.
I build it. You review it. We refine until it's right. Most projects deliver a working version in 2-4 weeks depending on scope.
Full walkthrough, complete handoff, you own the code and the tools. Optional monthly retainer for ongoing maintenance and updates. Never required.
You know the number before work starts. Anything outside the scope gets quoted and approved first -- never billed by surprise.

Thirteen years delivering analytics, automation, and AI tooling inside a large enterprise -- the same problems local businesses have, at a scale where getting it wrong is expensive. Now applied to businesses that don't have an IT department.
I'm not going to build you custom software you have to maintain forever. I configure proven tools you already own or should, hand you the logins, and show you how they work.
The whole point is that you shouldn't need an IT department to use what I build. Everything is designed for real people running real businesses, not engineers.
Every project is a scoped flat fee with the number agreed before work starts — no discovery retainer, no open-ended meter. Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours, always. Ongoing care is a separate choice you make after the work is done, never a condition of getting it.
Who I Work With
Based in Ambler, PA, serving the Greater Philadelphia region. Remote-friendly for the right engagement.
The questions people actually ask before hiring me.
No. Most clients do, because it's the difference between a site that works and a site nobody's watching — but you have a real alternative. Build & Handoff is the project price plus $400: I deploy the site into your own hosting account, transfer the code, hand over every login, write you a runbook, and walk you through all of it on a call. Then it's yours. It costs a bit more than the care plan route because handing a site over is more work at delivery than keeping it. What you give up is monitoring, backups, uptime alerts, emergency fixes, and included update hours. You can join a care plan later for a $400 audit fee.
Software you already own, or should, set up properly. Missed-call text-back so a missed call turns into a text instead of a lost job. Google Business Profile tuned so you show up in the map results. Automated review requests. Online booking. I'm not building you custom software to maintain -- I'm configuring proven tools and handing you the logins. Fixed price, and you can do one or all of them.
You do, always. It's registered at Porkbun in your name, on your card, in your account. I'm added as a delegate so I can manage the DNS, and that's it. If you fire me tomorrow, nothing needs to be transferred — you already own it. I'd rather earn the next year than hold your address hostage.
You get written notice and a 30-day grace period, and your site stays online the whole time. After that, hosting and monitoring end. Your domain is still yours and your site files are still yours — ask and I'll send them, no charge. I'm not going to take a local business offline without warning.
On a care plan, you send me the change and I make it — text edits, photo swaps, new hours, updated contact info. Essential includes two hours a year, Standard adds a block each quarter. Most small businesses use less than that. If you want to be in there editing weekly, I'm honestly the wrong fit and you'd be happier on Squarespace or Wix — I'll tell you that in the first call rather than sell you something that annoys you.
Two to four weeks for Essential and Standard, assuming your copy and photos arrive on time. That last part is the whole ballgame — the single most common reason a two-week project turns into a four-month one is waiting on content. If you don't have copy and photos ready, I can handle that for $500 and we'll stay on schedule.
I'll quote it flat before I start — usually a few hundred dollars depending on what's on it. New pages, design changes, and new features sit outside the care plan's update hours on purpose, because a new page is real design work, not a text edit. Anything outside your plan is $150/hour, always estimated and approved first. You will never get a surprise invoice from me.
Sometimes you should, and I'll say so. If you want to edit your own site every week or you're selling products online, go use one of those — you'll be happier and it'll be cheaper. What you get here instead is a site that loads fast, gets set up properly in local search, is wired to actually capture leads and tell you where they came from, and has someone answering the phone when it breaks. That's a different product, not a fancier version of the same one.
Not unless you specifically ask for it and take that decision to your own attorney first. Call tracking platforms often turn recording on by default; I turn it off. Pennsylvania law requires every party on a call to consent to being recorded, and it's a criminal statute, not a slap on the wrist. I'm not switching that on for you as a convenience.
Fair question, and it's why your domain is in your name and your site is plain HTML in a code repository rather than locked inside a platform only I can log into. If I'm gone, you own your domain, you own your files, and any competent developer can pick it up without needing anything from me. Nothing about your site depends on me still being here.
Sometimes. Send me the link. If it's built on something reasonable, a rebuild is often cheaper and faster than untangling it — and if your domain is stuck at a registrar that overcharges you, moving it is usually the first thing worth doing, and it takes about an hour. I'll tell you honestly if you're better off keeping what you have.
A 20-minute discovery call, no obligation -- just a real conversation about what's slowing you down.
